Finished: FIAT 131 Abarth Rally, Tamiya 1/20

Finaly done (ok roof wing missing but can't be instaled, I noticed I left it in my sea side house, so no wing until next summer )

So, basic info:
painted and cleared with automotive 2K products
S27 belt set+PE basic set
Rest of the stuff scratch, mainly engine bay.
Wires all over.
Hope you like it

Superb Sasa! I was only wondering about this build the other day. The engine and boot detail are brilliant, but the bit I particularly love is the staining on the exhaust.

A shame those old translucent Tamiya white decals, aren't up to the same standard as your craftsmanship.

You're the man!
Very nice build, followed the progress and I must say you certainly have an eye for details.
Here's a video clip, about two minutes in there is a 131 passing with a great engine noice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFjsCaQe1Ng

Lovely model....just one thing...the spare tire, you can do something with a belt like it's attach to chassis not just glue....I don't know how to explain better...my english sucks!!

Spare wheel is fixed with central nut (you can see it in a trunk photo), belt would be nicer I agree but it is not needed because real car has it like this

Thank you guys on your comments

That is just incredible! I've been following the build-up with much interest, so it's great to see the finished result!

That reminds me - I must make some progress on my own models.....

Sasa, wonderful build! I absolutely love the exhaust! Your perseverance was well worth it! You would make Mr Tamiya proud!
