Re: Need pic of '95 OBD1 port
Hmmm..... I can't seem to get FreeScan to work. I double checked my comport to make sure it was right, but nothing seems to be coming through. I also tried DataMaster and it gave me an error saying ALDL converter is working but PCM is not recognized. I took the underdash panel off and tried to get the PCM free to see which one it is, but he put a metal band around it to keep it in place that looks like to pain to get off. I'm just going to e-mail the guy and see if he can well me what he really put in there.
BTW, is there any differance in the size, shape, or color of the PCM to tell which one it is? If so I can take a pic of what I can see of it and post it up, but if they all look pretty much identical I won't bother.

Re: Need pic of '95 OBD1 port
And you're sure you have 5 to A and 9 to M?, Sometimes in Freescan you have to force the connection by switching in the control section to interact mode hit force connection and then hit the start button. Also make sure the default is set to the correct comm port.
If this still falls to read. Get me the serial numbers off the computer cause it could be that you for some reason have a OBD2 PCM.

Re: Need pic of '95 OBD1 port
Yea that's still not working, and he guy hasn't responded yet. I'll send him another e-mail and wait a couple more days before I try to get the damned thing loose. He rigged it up in there in a way where it looks like the only way I'm going to get it out is with really, really tiny fingers or take the dash apart. Hopefully he'll come through and tell me what he put in there and I can get it working.

Re: Need pic of '95 OBD1 port
Alright the guy said that it is a '94 but it has a '95 vented optispark and that was were the confusion was. I guess that my paper clips aren't quite working right, because I did get it to work for about 10 seconds.
