2000 ford ranager no dpfe????

My research has me considering that possibly myi dpfe (egr sensor is going bad) I finally got a pic to show me where it is supposed to be. There is not one there nor has there ever been one. No plug, no threads in the plastic standoff where it should mount. What is going on here?? Any help out there

Ummmmm...............

Look at both EGR tube. There should be 2 small steel tubes that 2 rubber hoses attach to and then to the DPFE sensor.

Hey Johnny. I just looked in repair DVD and can not find any information on a DPFE or EGR valve for the 4.0L engine. Am I missing something or is the DVD missing info?
