but we are gettin off the subject...i want feedback from everyone....worth the project.i know these cavy bodies last forever...or so im told...i hvae a couple of projects up my sleeve and im putting them off to start this one

ive actually been thinking about doing a busa build up.......but i think i might do the cavy 1st.....idk...i can do the busa myself...thats y ive been putting it off...im a power fanatic if u ahvent noticed.....i thinkin throwin the biggest turbo i can on it and gettin all the engine work done at a local shop........

pardon my ignorance, is the crate 350 a v6 or v8?

if its a v6, i refer you to www.v6z24.com

if its a v8, you might want to talk to the camaro and corvette fellows....

no offense but nobody here really has much experience with such projects.

All crate 350s are V8s.

There are some people who have done this. My suggestion is to goto a race shop and have a custom tube frame built then the cavalier body sat on it. You will be alot better off doing it this way. you can mount the interior back in and everything. It will just have a roll cage in it. But if it is built good you won't be able to see it that much.

yea there is actually a few out there the hardest part if converting it to rearwheel drive and setting up the frame. i take it your using a carbed 350 or are you going all out and doing fuel injection
