Re: 87 RX-7 Problem

I pulled a bad o2 sensor code on my 90 fc w/o it setting any check lights on, but its dumping fuel into the engine because my o2 says its running lean.

I get grey/slighty white-ish smoke on initial startup if its cold, or get above 3000rpms it in park while cold., and a strong smell of our expensive high octane gas during start up.
but it will clears when it warms., I'm starting to get a stronger vibration while at stop lights.

but anyways go ahead and change your o2 but I'd still check for any codes just in case its something else.

I know on piston engines constant white smoke means coolant is being burnt, but I'm really still a noob when it come to rotarys.,

hope this gives you some help man gl

Why would you run high octane in an n/a? Waste of money.

Re: 87 RX-7 Problem

yea ...for some reason it runs like shit on low octane..........it really isn't that expensive I just think its funny how I can smell it going to waste. Its like the smell of burning money.
