how do i program garage openers?? xk8 i do not have owners manual, also how do i program keyless entry, i have one that works the other does not, thanks

I just bought a used 97 xk8 recently, and did this on mine.
Hold your current garage door opener against the bottom of the rearview mirror. Simultaneously press the button on your garage door opener and the button you want to program. Hold both buttons until the red light near those 3 buttons begins flashing quickly. The light will start flashing slowly at first then more quickly, it should be done when it begins flashing quickly. The manual says that this could take up to a minute (took about 30 seconds for me).
