NRG Engine Damper and TB Spacer for 99 Accord?
Anyone get the NRG Engine Damper for 99 Accord 4 cylinder?? I have seen sites that say its only for 90-97 Accords and then a lot of them say for 90-99 so will it work for 99 Accords?
Any of you guys try the Helix Throttle Body Spacer. I know OBX and Helix are the only two companys that make them for the 99 Accord. Anyone hear anything about them and if they are worth it besides the turbo sound they make? |

I believe you have to get a custom bracket for the engine damper. I know the V6's do.

TB spacers on Fuel Injected cars are near worthless.

Re: NRG Engine Damper and TB Spacer for 99 Accord?
TB spacers on any car pretty much worthless. I love how these companies state that the spacer smoothes out airflow into the plenum but the second the air hits the plenum and runners the air is turbulant again. Carb applications work but not to the degree they state. The only way that a spacer would work would be to put the spacer between the runners and the head.
This is the same for any of the tornado style objects. I cant remember there correct name but yeah they are just a bent piece of metal.

Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |
