True, I'm just hoping there's a garage "down the street" I have to park them in. But hell, I'm getting paid to park and/or drive cars, it sure as hell beats bussing tables or serving up burgers.

And yes I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I feel bad jumping my own car so I certainly wouldn't do it somebody elses. But damn I know I would the temptation to take a Ferrari for a "victory lap".

Bottom line is that I'm getting paid to do something I seriously don't mind doing all day. I start next week, I'll make sure to take some pics just incase something really cool rools in.

Btw, I've driven an Elise before, its basically just a street-legal go kart. that thing is extremely sticky in the turns (although prone to throttle lift-off oversteer when being pushed). The brakes are just as insane. My uncle who owns one did a 60-0 with me riding shotgun and I was fuckin dizzy when we stopped. For $40k its definitely a cool little race car.

I'm not going to mess anybody's car up or steal because I kinda live by the life rule, "Don't do shit to other people that you wouldn't want done to you."

sweet deal, i'm making minimum wage this summer ($7.75 canadian) but mine's not a bad job and it's outside which is what i want. Just remember, as with every public relations job, to smile and be polite, nothing will get you a tip faster than being polite with a big smile, maybe a comment about the car or something. just be a charmer, and make sure you don't show it when it's one of your bad days.
