Re: 2.73 or 3.23?

another way to determine gearing from what i read was place a mark on the drivershaft and housing and have someone turn the rear wheel, count how many times the drive shaft turns and crosses the mark...2.75 turns = 2.73 gears, over 3 turns and you know you got 3 something gears!!!

Re: 2.73 or 3.23?

Like was mentioned Glove box doors on 95 is where the rpo's are and another easy way is to just open her up and look on the side of the ring gear.

Re: 2.73 or 3.23?

You will need to step up to a 3 series carrier or used special 2 series gears (made by richmond or strange) is you use gears ratios higher than a 3.08

Screw the gears, just get a good torque converter!
