Aoshima Trueno

I know there've been threads about it's release, but I can't recall seeing any built up, or any reviews of it, and didn't find any after searching. Has anyone gotten the Aoshima kit with the engine, and if so, have you built it? How did the kit look? The engine? Do tell.

Yes it is as said on Aoshima's own website.

Btw, the fujimi one comes with the pre-assembled/pre-painted engine

Re: Aoshima Trueno

I have the Fujimi one with the engine, it's just the old kit with a resin engine with a seperate stand. It's pre-painted, and somehow, the paint on my resin engine is messed up (good job Fujimi )

The Aoshima one is said to be release near the end of april (don't qoute me on this, they pushed back the release date for the ? number of times now since last october).

When I get my hands on the Aoshima one, I'll make a complete comparison of the two.

That's only the diecast model. No announcement were made for a plastic 1/24 Levin by Aoshima.

Re: Aoshima Trueno

I'm afraid Aoshima has delayed the release date, AGAIN, to June.

Re: Aoshima Trueno

Is it likely that the engine that is going to be in the kit will be just the top half? If it is, it will look pretty crap!
