go find a shop press and/or an oxyacetylene torch. and dont get high of the fumes.

Eh, the methylacetylene, somethin, something, One step up from a propane torch should do just fine. We use an oxy/acetyl torch, but we ended up just letting the rubber burn once it caught on fire. If you burn the suckers out first, you can just use a vice to squeeze them back in.
Well, I take that back. We also had an air hammer with a fancy bit to cut the steel part of the bushing out. Fancy bit = Body Panel cutter for quick collision teardowns. And even with all of that, it still took a ton of patience and two days to do it. But that car rides completely different now.

yea i dread doing alum subframe bushing i just want to get a rear subframe from a junk car and take my time on doing it so my car wont be out of commision to long and weld the diff on the second subframe as well
