What is Mexico getting out of this whole illegal debate?

Just wondering, if your so anti imagration, do something about it, I realize that you guys are just finding a place to speak your mind, but are you guys doing anything about it? I knew I was going to get shit for saying something, I just wanted to see how far you guys would go, hmmm? I am just wondering if I should continue with my side of the story, or is this something you guys are angry about that your white neighborhoods are seeing some color. I know some of you may not be white, chill, an expresion. But hey, I know I may get smashed for this one too, but I got no problem with it. Just kinda make me laugh how angry people can get over things they do do anything about. =P

Race card.......uhm what cha going to say bout the latino in here that are saying the same thing. Maybe we could go and picket and protest where they are protesting but what that would just escalate into bigger problems such as shooting and brawling.

Has nothing to do with our "white" neighborhoods seeing color. I've gone to school with probably more mix races than anyone here, since preschool. Hell my office, which employs over 1000 people is mostly those non white. I have no problem with color. I do have a problem with illegals getting freebies and expecting everyone to adopt to them, not the other way around. The way it should be. What flags did I see being flown during all of these protests? Mexico's! Not America's, Mexico. This isn't Mexico, you come here you play by the rules. Although, with the state our country is in now I no longer know what those are. Every single hispanic I've talked to hates this b/c they want everyone to come here fair and not get help. They didn't get help. They're getting the backlash from all the illegals.

Congratulations on being the first one to change the topic from the actual topic of taxes, legal nationality and related legislation and bring up race. I couldn't possibly give less of a rats ass about someones race/culture/religion/sexual orientation or any other such retarded labeling system the modern world deems is necessary to organize humanity. To stupid people, race is the problem. To everyone else the fact that there is people leaching off the economy without paying back into it and then protesting because they think they are being trampled on while being goaded on by corrupt leaders to the south telling them that parts of America are theirs by right is the problem.

As for what I've done, any time someone with no social security number, no visa and no means of identification tries to get work at the shop, I call the INS and the police.

But hey, I know I may get smashed for this one too, but I got no problem with it. Just kinda make me laugh how angry people can get over things they do do anything about. =P

In case you didn't notice, we're trying to pass a congressional bill, which is how things are done here in America. This bill is what the illegals are protesting - have you been living in a cave? That's the problem with these people, they don't even know or care what the arguement is about. All they want is OUR money to support THEIR inability to run their country.

Just a reminder since you don't seem be able to keep track of what is being said - not one person in this thread said anything about being anti-immigration. Immigration is what built America and it's a great thing. It's the ILLEGAL immigrants that we don't want. God I hope you're not registered to vote - you don't have enough facts to get it right. First you say the illegals are paying taxes (they aren't). Then you say we're not doing anything about it (we are trying to pass a bill thru congress). Well what I predicted to come from this is starting to unravel. I've heard that Oceanside High School in Cali is now banning all patriotic objects, this includes clothing and the flag itself (from what I understand). The reason being is that the (and this is what they specified) blacks, somoans, and other minority groups are now targeting the hispanics with the american flag and other patriotic things.

Sorry, I can't find a link for you to read the story. I heard this on several radio stations on my way home today. But, like I said; things are only going to get worse. Paris ring a bell?

I doubt it will get that far, maybe if there was open shooting at the border. Once the bill is pushed through congress and the senate, in whatever form, it will die down.

The situation in France, from what I understand, is much worse than anything we've seen in America save maybe the race riots of the early 90s and the civil rights riots of the 60s.
