I have a Screw and get 13-14 mpg with mixed Highway/stree daily driving.

18.5 HWY 13.2 (roughly) CITY, K&N Air filter, new fuel filter, larger exhaust, unloaded, 97 5.4 single cab shortie.

my 85 f250 with 5.8w with 4.11 rear and 4.10 front gets 14mpg

no F-150 that I know gets good mileage above 13--15 mpg. I drive a 2001 F-150 witha 4.2 V6 and it has plenty of power and I get 23--25 mpg on the highway with a lite foot. It also has the original factory tires and brakes at 172,000 miles and they still have more than half the thread and material left to them, probably 205,000--215,000 miles till I change them. When I tow my two quads around I still get around 16-18 mpg. The V6 is ignored too much
