Mugen Honda enthusiasts: LOOK HERE!!

I would like your input. I recently developed a working mold of a body kit so I can provide a copy to one of my very good friends. I've been working on this for a few days now as personal project and the thought occured to attempt to produce this as a transkit. Do you guys think enough people would be interested in purchasing this to justify producing multiple sets? It would be a 10 piece kit that consists of 2 bumpers, 2 sideskirts with 2 separate "fins," 2 "stock mirrors," and a lip spoiler for the trunk, and grille to be used with the Tamiya Accord (JACCS, PIAA, etc.). There is a strong possibility of producing a stock interior to be used and even a set of matching rims. What do you guys think?

Not yet, still need good reference photos to ensure accuracy.

Re: Mugen Honda enthusiasts: LOOK HERE!!

Cool thanks for the input guys!!! I guess it's a go!! The front just needs some adjustment and a new way to mount to the chassis. The sides will be a piece of cake, but the rear...well let's just say that will determine when the whole thing is completed.

Re: Mugen Honda enthusiasts: LOOK HERE!!

Looks really good.

I wish I had a 5th gen IRL instead of a 6th gen. There are actually kits of the body style for the 5th. The only 6th gen is a wagon version...with the I4...I have a v6 sedan. Way too much custom work for me.

Re: Mugen Honda enthusiasts: LOOK HERE!!

Quick update:

I remounted the bumper correctly. The difficult part was that I lost probably 80% of the original mounting points (female) in the process. There is enough to keep the pin (male) centered so I improvised a little bit on the bumper. It's not the greatest idea, but it works just the same. So for those of you that are still interested, it's up to you how you want to mount it, but for accuracy/realism purposes, the original mounting points are in the way. Oh well, what can you do. Here are the pics (NOTE-bumper is being held by tape):

All that is left is clean up on the inside of the bumper, then I can make a new mold.

Next step, sideskirts. Have a nice day!
