Some of them are tuff as nails to lay down, but i tained them with microset and haidrier. Body is waiting for a final clear coat, i will be using tamiya x-21 clear, sprayed with airbrush. I also finished all the clear parts. Getting close to an end. Yeah!
your model is just amazing, but i'd go with another brand of clear, the tamiya one have a tendency to turn white to a yellowish color. i just took a look at my jar and it's already yellowish in the jar, imagine over white...
just my , keep up the good work, yelo

Re: Focus WRC in progress

Beautiful work Grega. How did you get such a fine red line on the spare tyre?

I did some dryfitting and it looks it will go on without major problems. I did, however had to thin the glass at the top ends.

Re: Focus WRC in progress

This is a great build and I'm really looking forward to seeing it finished, even though I'm not a fan of the car. Your work is very clean.

Re: Focus WRC in progress

Some more progress on this car...
Windovs are made from thin clear foil, I've used tamiya acrylic paint for final gloss coat and rubbed it. I've also glued hood pins. More to follow.
