Focus WRC in progress

Here we go. SLow progress, but we are getting there somehow.
Some parts I'm working on...

CF on the side panels.

Wheels and brakes

Spare wheel. Harness and buckles are from SRC generic rally set

Some wiring in the cockpit

Dashboard covered with CF

Seatbelts laced and seats installed

Spare tire installed

And the headphones (cable is made from copper wire painted black)

That's it. Enjoy.

Re: Focus WRC in progress

Looks real good! Nice detail.

Did you add any more button detail, or are those the moulded buttons on the dashboard? Seatbelts from the same detail set?

Those buttons are moulded on the dash. I didn't bother to add any switches, they are just to tiny for my hands. The belts are from SRC set.

Re: Focus WRC in progress

Magnificent work. I particularly like the red seam around the spare tyre.

Re: Focus WRC in progress

Hey again. I finally put all the decal on this machine
Some of them are tuff as nails to lay down, but i tained them with microset and haidrier. Body is waiting for a final clear coat, i will be using tamiya x-21 clear, sprayed with airbrush. I also finished all the clear parts. Getting close to an end. Yeah!

Re: Focus WRC in progress

Excellent job on those decals!!! I have already had one aborted attempt to finish the focus in this colour scheme and it ended up in the bin sadly so I know they can be a pain.Love the detail on the spare wheel (the markings on the tyre wall) and the seatbelts look superb! Steve.
