Re: Fastest you've been!

^ugg I have stories about a 95 impreza L that my friend swapped in a TT EJ20. That POS never did run right after having purchased a HALTEC ECU than a MOTEC ECU (at nearly 2000 a piece)That car was a mess. He ended up selling it and buying a 98Z28.

Re: Fastest you've been!

Limited to 120 and have hit that mark too many times to count on my hands and feet. And that's in 4th with some room to go. I'm quite sure that this car can go well beyon that mark but I'm done pushing this car because I'm looking into an upgrade from the 6...hee hee hee

Re: Fastest you've been!

I hit 115 in fourth gear at 4500 RPM. Me and my friend were having a time attack to see which route was faster, his "shortcut", or my daily route. I was falling behind his time and just punched it trying to make up some seconds. His time had beaten me by like 15 seconds before I even got to the destination, so I just quit and never took it into 5th gear. Other than that, 100 is really as far as I've had to go.

Re: Fastest you've been!

I really don't know to be honest with you. The GTCs speedometer only goes up to 125 MPH. I managed to wrap it back around to about 15 MPH or so. I would guess it was somwhere between 130 - 140 MPH.

Re: Fastest you've been!

I got a few vids of me doing a speed runs last night. Fastest one took me up to just shy of 135. I woulda kept going, but the whole...holding the camera with one hand and trying to watch the road and steer while going 135 at night on a road that I hit a deer on and hit a fox earlier that night...well, better judgement took over...

Re: Fastest you've been!

115 in my Accord. I ran out of room since cars were coming up and had to slow down. Probably could have taken it to 125 if they weren't there though.
