Actually, I don't go by what "people" say. I go by what the experts say.
http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...y/1802932.html

The Turbonator is nothing more than as I said, a paperwight which merely causes you to burn more fuel due to the restricted airflow and decreases your overall horse power. I always do extensive research before I dismiss anything completely. I've researched this Turbonator thoroughly and have concluded you can gain more HP from filling your tank up than you can from sticking this thing in your intake. There was no way I was about to blow $40 hard earned dollars on some folded up tin foil.

Re: 3.1 turbo

I've done mods to the quad in my grand am, don't keep them a secret but don't broadcast that I have them either. If someone asks, I tell them. As for the turbonator, its a piece of crap, sticking a leaf blower into your air intake would do more for you.

Re: 3.1 turbo

I guess not. But without proper proof, I call bullshit on your 200+ hp out of a 3.1 without forced induction, or major work to the engine.

Re: 3.1 turbo

Turbos:
http://www.bbsdesigns.net/
http://www.force-fed-fabrications.com/index2.htm

Superchargers:
http://www.rsmracing.com/catalog.htm

The ones at Force Fed Fabrications and RSM Racing are designed for the 3.4L, but I'm sure with a little modification they can fit the 3rd gens 2.8/3.1's.

All it would take is a dyno sheet.
Not asking for much. Just proof.
I will post mine up if you post yours. I just don't understand why you can't tell us. Not like we know who you are or anything....and I bet none of us will ever line up next to you for money.

Good luck with the forced induction!

Re: 3.1 turbo

if you have 200hp, i will race you with my 92 305 tbi camaro. It is all stock for now, but i am getting ready for full exhaust from headers back. So if you have 200hp you should win.
