Re: How's this for neons
I don't see why not! Those look great, they'd probably work a lot better than single LEDs. How thick are they? And what are they called and where do you find them?
I'd go ahead and try 'em, it's only plastic after all...

Re: How's this for neons
Looks pretty good, just make sure it isnt so thick that the neons would be really visible. Also, make sure it doesn't get too hot for the plastic.

Re: How's this for neons
i dont kno english wel ^_^' , so i used transliter from PromtX-its no good)):
It is required to us: diodes (head lights), wires, a soldering iron, power supplies as you cannot attach a wire to a battery (at me it has not turned out), a core from pens (all of them different on diameter so pick up those in which your diode will get that kept, or take the greater size of the diode), a knife, glue the moment. The selection of diodes should be carried out to following attributes: the size, a pressure and the power supply. FOR my procedure it is required 3mm the diodes working from battery 3V. SO we shall start: Clean a core from pens, wash out it, wait while will dry up. Then enclose core under the bottom car and understand with a size-dontuseful components* cuting a knife., in the same way to make and with one and it is pasted core to the bottom. Then accurately drip glue on each side diodes and thrust them and a core. Be accurate, when will break off "short moustaches" at diodes, it is desirable to put to the basis not the big firm subject to bend on its contour and then already break, And that I have casually broken a short moustache completely. it in any way, therefore it was necessary to chouse.and the others 2 lights to use as reflectors. After we choose a place for storage of battery in car (do not forget about compartments for battery), at me compartments have taken a place under seats, (it was necessary to do slightly surgical work with interior)) and as define a place for switches, they were placed with me in a petrol tank, and regarding engine. Further connect diodes, compartments and swich(off/on). by Wires by means of a soldering iron. All apertures are made manually. If it is complex to you to disassemble the scheme of connection try to draw it on paper. if do not remember how do this.... That is enough to take advantage of the textbook to the physicist for 8-9 class. We wish good luck! oooh!!!i hope you to understand this) |
