Re: ??? about this MBC

Dude...she gained a bunch o' weight while we were together cuz she's so fucking lazy and I REALLY lost it for her.

Yea dude...just pop $10 on a good, ball and spring type boost controller and put that $80 you have left towards a Greddy Profec B-Spec II...the ONLY EBC I personally endorse. This was my plan for my turbo till I hit that damn curb...

I honest to God think this is the best way to do it. EBC is, for the most part, the best option as far as boost controllers go, but they can be a bit pricey...even though the Greddy I mention isn't all that much more expensive than that goofy ass MBC you were looking at. If you're wanting to raise the boost, spend as little money as possible on an MBC (ball and spring is the ONLY type I recommend as far as MBCs go, also), so you can save for an EBC. Spend the $10 on that MBC I showed you, save the money and buy the Greddy in a couple weeks. Don't buy any cheap ass bleeder valves and don't buy any damn MBC that's NINETY FUCKING DOLLARS!!! Are you NUTS?! You can MAKE an MBC out of parts from Home Depot for ~5 bucks...you know that...right?

I'm still kinda amazed that you were even CONSIDERING an MBC that costs NINETY BUCKS, man. I would just laugh...

you should re-consider the Greddy Profec B Spec II. from what alot of Twin Turbo owners complain is that the solenoid fails. it seems to be a good bang for your buck but the other top Japanese companies make FAR superior EBC's. actually, the more i read...the more i am getting convinced on getting rid of the Greddy Profec Spec B and going down to the older version which i think was called the Type S. i have heard alot of good things about the Apexi AVC-R and the Blitz one.

just thought i would inform thee. with the older Greddy model, it is supposed to be easier to use...work better and obviously cheaper.

Re: ??? about this MBC

The Type-S is actually a reissue of an older model of theirs that was very popular. Personally, all I've EVER read about the B-Spec II was awesome and would use it on a car of mine in 2 seconds without hesitation. All I can do is recommend what I would personally use and/or like to use. The Type-S would be nice but I think it's a bit more expensive and does LESS! The B-Spec II is the perfect spot between fuzzy logic and a manual controller that most electronic controllers can't seem to find.

Oh...and American History X is one of the best movies EVER! Just watched it for the 2579823742nd time on Encore...fuckin love that movie. They should show it unedited in highschools as a prerequisit [sp], in my oppinion.

Re: ??? about this MBC

meh well I bought that one on ebay that you showed me, so I can spend more money on other stuff that I'm gonna' need. I know you can make them for 5 dollars at home depot, but I was under the impression that those were the bleeder valve types. Besides that Dejon tools one was the cheapest one I could find that offered the switchable boost level for under 100 bucks.

Re: ??? about this MBC

That $10 one is all you need. If you want switchable, get that JWT one I showed you or pay up and go EBC.

Re: ??? about this MBC

The JWT is mounted in the passenger cabin, so that you can adjust it inside the cabin... the one I wanted has two levels; 1. stock , and 2. Your preset level. You can achieve your preset level by flicking a switch that you mount inside the cabin, which I believe sends a signal to a solenoid in the engine bay, which controls that boost levels. This makes it less suseptable to boost spikes... it doesn't matter though, becuase I already bought that one on ebay, and I just bought a boost gauge to go with it. Now all I need is the JWT attachment POD and I'll be ready to rock out with my cock out...
