??? about this MBC

http://all.dejonpowerhouse.com/edit/A-03.htm

I know that Dejon Tools specializes in DSMs, so I'm wondering if you guys think that this MBC wouldn't work with my z... It's the "Lo-High" Dual Controller... thanks in advance.

Re: ??? about this MBC

There is no reason why it shouldn't work on your Z31, its just a simple check valve. Naturally the kit is for the DSM so the hoses are going to be off in length/diameter...

Re: ??? about this MBC

i wouldn't go for it... i'd just find a generall ball and spring (i think) mbc for much cheaper than that... unless you want it in the car (not recommended with the mbc's as the long vacuum piping required makes for bad boost spikes and sloppy control) it's super super easy peasy to plumb in one of them and you can probably just mount it to the brake booster heat shield for easy access...

Re: ??? about this MBC

They ran a few tests on these, and they were Pretty damn good at boost spiking below 14PSI, and I'll be running no more than 10 MAX, so that's why I"m thinking it'd be pretty nice; for me I'm only gonna be running stock boost, but if I get into a different situation, all I have to do is flick the switch, and I'm at 8 PSI... what're your thoughts delerious or broke????

Re: ??? about this MBC

oh you're looking at the second one.... i guess if you really wanted to, if it were me i'd just go with a regular mbc that'd be a whole lot cheaper...

Re: ??? about this MBC

^Yea, I mean it's only 88 bucks, so thats like 30 dollars more for switchable levels, so I think it's worth it... All it is is just a switch in the cabin, not the actual dial...

Re: ??? about this MBC

Dude...what the hell is that and why is it 90 friggin bucks!? Just get one of these and call it a day. Love how the seller's name is "srpbrent", too. No, it's not me...just dude with the same name. That's a ball and spring type of mbc...the only type I would recommend. One of these would be a good option too if you want something easily adjustable. Just don't A) buy a cheap ass bleeder valve mbc (spiking peesashit will kill MY car...) and/or B) buy an expensive ass mbc...mbc's are supposed to be cheap, man.

But, to answer your question, yea...it should work...

Re: ??? about this MBC

^I'm not gonna' buy jusy any old cheap ass MBC for our car... besides I wouldn't buy a bleeder valve. I just talked to some of the guys in the 3/s forums and they said Dejon is very good quality stuff, so I think I'm gonna' get it... besides if I wanted the TurboSmart version of that controller, it'd cost me 165.00 plus shipping, which is way toooo much for an MBC, so the way I see it, this is just right.

Re: ??? about this MBC

90 bucks is too way too damn much, man. That 10 dollar one is the exact saome one I had on my turbo and it will do the job as well, if not better, then the one you're going to pay 9 times as much for.

Re: ??? about this MBC

^There's something about spending $275 for a low-boost setting that just doesn't appeal to me

Yea, but the 88 dollar one has a switch that you mount in the cabin which allows you to switch to your preset level; I only want stock levels for Daily driving, but if I'm in a quick racing situation or possibly a clear entrance ramp all I have to do is flick a switch, and BAM 8PSI!!!

Re: ??? about this MBC

Ok...so...lemme get this straight...you're going to pay 90 friggin bucks to run a measley 8psi!? I mean...thanks for not destroying my girl, but fuckin shit, man...that's not really worth it. Save that 90 bucks, save for another week or 2 and go Greddy Profec B-Spec II. My plan with my turbo was run the 10 dollar MBC for a while so I can save up and buy a B-Spec II. DO THAT! DON'T WASTE $90!!!
