That really is gold, nicely laid on too. Which specific car is this going to be?

Re: First WIP: Xsara WTC 1/24
This is the Heller Kit of the Citreon Xsara Rally Car 1:24.
A friend of mine has a REAL citroen xsara and tuned it to be just like it!!!! So he asked me to make this model for him. He gave me the same paint he has used for his car that's why I painted it Gold... |

Re: First WIP: Xsara WTC 1/24
I used PPG one compound clear.
I thinned it 1 part of clear with 1.5 part of universal thinner (just like the instructions said.... Should I try to pass some compound to see if it goes away???? By the way sorry for the big photos, I'll try to make smaller ones next time....

What a bummer, dude! That was a real BEAUTIFUL paint job too... I might make a gold car because of it.

Re: First WIP: Xsara WTC 1/24
I'm no airbrush expert but there are a lot of them on the finescale magazine
forum. Looks like it dried as it came out of the nozzle so my guess too much pressure, maybe too much thinner. Ask the guys on that forum, they're really good. |

Re: First WIP: Xsara WTC 1/24
Well I tried to solve it by using compound to get rid of those nasty things but unfortunately the result was not the best...
So... I'm now in the process of removing the paint and start all over again...
