Re: hey everyone

Hell I am looking at a Z31, 50th Anny Turbo. The body is in decent shape there is a dent in the pass side rear. But nothing a body shop cant fix, and the paint is faded, but the price is close to right, 3k. The only issue I have is the engine has 260K miles on it. But I can rebuild that for relativily cheap if I ever get the time and energy to do it. I would leave that car STOCK, and make it my show car. I am odd I know. But I would love to have a Turbo Z31 to go with my Z32. Now all I have to do is find a Slicktop Z32, and I will be set.

Re: hey everyone

3k sounds like wayyyy too much for a beat up 50th anny... just a heads up

as for electric fans there are a number of different ones you can use, few that i'd recommend tho... especially for turbo cars in the summer... flexalite has some good ones as well as a few others that i can't think of right now... the main thing you want is something that can flow a LOT of air.. 2500+CFM for the turbo is the general rule people go by, i'm going with something that flows a little more just to be on the safe side...

another thing you want to be aware of is the amount of current the fan draws while running... the less the better generally (a lot more expensive as well) just make sure it's still flowing the amount of air you need...

Re: hey everyone

^DZ, is there any way I can tell those stats about my fan, or no??? I mean, I really don't feel like taking a volt meter to it.

Re: hey everyone

Spal makes some nice electric fans but they are a little more costly than some i am pretty sure. just an idea...

the local performance shop around here sells some nice flex-a-lite fans for really cheap...
