Subaru pt.9: 2004 WRX base

Revell diecast. It's too small!! I will be making a few of these in different colors. Hopefully, every color 1:1.

Thanks

I see one thing this is good for. Taking out that engine and casting it. *hint hint wink wink*

Nice looking though.

Neat model, too bad it's 1/25 .

I just got third Revell WRX...me and Veyron walked out of a rural Wal Mart store w/one each, they were marked down to $8. Worth that just for engine/wheels/tires...good parts to make the Fujimi version a bit more tolerable. I get the imprezzion that this model hasn't sold too well, not sure if we'll see any more from Revell...damned stupid ass marketing and dumb "Super Street" box that tells you NOTHING about the model I don't expect to see a plastic version nor the STI any time soon, if at all.

Re: Subaru pt.9: 2004 WRX base

Nice, I almost bought one back in the summer but decided not to because of the 1/25 scale.

Re: Subaru pt.9: 2004 WRX base

I know: Talk about a huge mistake. If Revell had made this 1/24th scale, they would have sold tons of them overseas from guys just looking to get the engine.

Re: Subaru pt.9: 2004 WRX base

You can notice the size difference between the fujimi kit. The revell trumps over it in everyway, other than the scale and material of the tool.

Re: Subaru pt.9: 2004 WRX base

Yup, the Revell kit is nicely done except for the body material. Interior looks great and is accurately done (From hours of studying the Impreza sale book before buying a Golf). I just picked up a couple more myself on sale, will make do I guess.

At least a nicely done metal body is better than a half-assed metal chassis (Tamiya 307 WRC.....).

Re: Subaru pt.9: 2004 WRX base

Yea. Tamiya makes more sense though. I'd rather not have the diecast anything though.
