yea i have to agree with RW on this one. 2,500 isnt a bad price and you know its quality. I wouldnt want the gt-rs just becuase everyone and there grandma has it....what fun is that. Gota mix shit up a bit.
and people stop saying get an rb25 if you want big power.......most of everyone on here doesnt even have the money to release the "extra" potential of the rb25(much less do the basic swap lol). THe sr will give you big power anyways.......more than enough to make you happy.

Its not a complete ripoff since
1) You are getting HKS quality 2) You are getting HKS's reliability 3) You are getting Hks's support if you have any problems. You could probably find a better deal if you really want that kit, since straight from HKS is probably going to be higher than a distributer. It all depends on what type of setup you want to run. Id suggest looking around at cheapturbos.com to find the proper turbo for your setup, and then go from there piecing togethor other items (type of manifold, external/internal wastegate, dumptube, ect...) But these things would probably be used only if your looking for high horsepower, which is what makes that HKS kit nice because it would bolt up to the stock setup (or so i think).. More info on your plans for the car would be helpful.

At first i only wanted between 200-250whp but have slightly changed my mind to 250 - 300whp. Im not sure. I dont really need a complete monster. But 250whp is enough for me but the extra hp would be fine to. Like I said I dont know much about Nissans yet so im learning as I go. I was able to find the same HKS setup for $2199. My buddy had a 240sx with the SR20DET swap and that same turbo and thing was really quick. Not sure how much whp it had. I'll ask him later today when I go pick up his sister.

I talked to my buddy and he said he was putting down 253whp with that same setup. You guys think that is possible with that turbo?

Oh btw sorry bout takin so long to let you guys know. I was at the Boston MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) to get do my ASVAB and Physical. Unforunatly im disqualified until I get a waiver from the Air Force.
