still on stock turbo...point still stands!

you are not ripping much at 12psi on stock turbo even with 9:1 compression ratio, especially your tires 'through' second gear.

Re: nitrous

No need to get all pissy, man. We smell a bit of bullshit. I'm sure your car's fast, but either you have some REALLY bad tires or you're embellishing a bit. I had really bad tires on my last Z31 and I could get sideways in third gear...and that car was (at the time) only pushing...like...210 at the crank. So if you had bad tires, I'm sure you can spin them very easily. But what you said had a tinge of a bs smell to it...that's all...now chill.

...and you act like we gave you NO info at all...we told you what to do and how to do it.

Re: nitrous

actually i guess if fuzion zr1 (with rim guard) are not good tires then there you go and you dont think it rips good on stock turbo i think that even youd be suprised you also have to look at the other mods and the fact that i weight reduced the piss out of it
and as fior the doubtfull ripping of the tires
how about shattering my clutch disc on the 4th run of an 1\8th mile?
oh weight let me gues improper install

well i ran a 8.2 second 1\8 on that run if that tells you anything

no clutch after the launch and running the equavelant to approx a 12.3 1\4 mile time.....
smell that shit its called ripper

and the run before that it got squirrely on my about half track when i hit 3rd it verred hard to the right (i was in the left lane) and i was pointed almost straight at him... talk about harry
no grannted i was on radials (aka street tires_) opn a drag strip so is that an excuse....
no i didnt act like you didnt help actuallty you where all quite informative and i appreciate the help
but untill i figu\re out whats wrong with the thing

wouldnt rev over 1400
tested ecu wouldnt start
ethwer shot it it started idled
still nothing over 1400
(tiny throttle)
now after i hooked up the tps (idle circuit) i can use approx 1\4 throttle then it leans out and dies out
it will rev to approx 5000 rs then it dies
(all at about 1\4 throttle)

tried another maf
tried a new clip for the maf
tiried a short road trip
(supposidly cleans the maf)
i have one more maf at my gaRAGE TO TRY (INCASE I HAVE 2 BROKEN ONES......

Re: nitrous

pretty much I think whats sums it up is this;

Get a wet kit and a 50 shot would cost just as much as a 20 shot...

good luck with the nitrous

Re: nitrous

nice pic there also your right there zris im slow
and i did say thanks for the help

also take your car to a drag strip and run the setup i got and tell me that you get good bite on street radials

better yet get any car with some sort of power (rwd) and take iot to the drags onm street radials and tell me how you do
also
if im going down the road at about 20mph if i am in second and mash it the tires rip the car jaunts to one side (mind you tires rippimg) and it lauinchs to the top of 2nd
if i then power into 3rd with out hesitatiomn 3rd can keep it going
not all out rippinmg but a nice middle power burn and traction
accelerates andf spins the tires
