Hey Ricecube...I had a similar brush stuck in my moms pathfinder...a mechanice we know was changing timing belt and noticed a brush or metal bristle stuck in EGR tube..."What the hell is that doing in there?" we were puzzled...it looked like it broke of the tip of a tube bristle...kind of like the bristle stick used on shotguns and pistols...metal brush for cleaning tubing...weird...

uuh.....
theres no brush in EGR. Only in the air "bypass type thing" that AznVirus described. Oh yea... the brush is an OEM part, put there to make sure the tube doesn't collapse (for some oddball reason). |
