There was an article in SAE on the ITR and the showed u how to do those custom lights. Circles were cut out of children's reflective stickers, these were red, and then stuck to the crome plated light fitting.
Maybe someone can scan the article to exlplain it better.

It doesn't look like there is enuff room in those gaps to put the circles in, and if it were small enuff then it would look too small to replicate the real ones. Ne-wayz i was thinkin about sanding off the chrome part so it is flat and getting circle shaped reflectors or sumthin and it would look realistic, I'd have to take lots of time to do it though.

Ahh, you fellas have only been going down the isle where the model cars are in your hobby shops!! Train modelers use these awesome lights from MV Products for use in their trains. They are actually costume jewelry pieces but they look terrific, have a realistic bulged shape of a lense, come in sizes from 1mm - 12mm, and also come in red, green, blue, and clear. I have 100's of these and use them for turn signals, fog lamps, HID lights, and yes, with some bare-metal foil as a background they are perfect "eurolights". Give 'em a try!!
