red tops are not the way to go for that application. optima makes a yellow top battery for high end audio/video applications. I have one in my 4 runner. I'm running two JBL 10's, sony speakers/tweeters all around and two amps(1000W and 600W). Haven't had any problems.
But I guess it's all up to whoever....

Thats cool, I never knew that the yellow top Optima was the one to get for high end stereo stuff. All I hear is people talking about the red top. Thanks for that information.
