Kudos to HLJ.com

HLJ.com are a great company. I ordered some bits and peices from them, Honda S2000 dress up kit, modellers wire hose's in silver, Nismo upgrades etc..

Sent the items to me and I got them today in 12 days, wonderful packaging, very secure not even marked or anything and I open the package, decals and upgrades were there.

I ordered .6mm wire hoses x1 and I got x3 instead.. and 1.4mm and .9mm as well.. Splendid. Shall be using them more and more..

OK, so that's media mix with great postage charges and VERY fast delivery and HLJ that also send out fast and use VERY good packaging..

Little wonder why I use UK hobby suppliers less and less..!!

Re: Kudos to HLJ.com

I got a package today from HLJ.com too, just part of the current order I have with them, but it only took 9 days to South Carolina

Also waiting on some stuff from MediaMix, it's taking longer than usual though from Wong, it's been nearly 10 days already

Yes, HLJ is a great company. I have ordered from them a 1/24 Ferrari F355 Spider but it is damaged during postage. I quickly took a photo of the damage and inform them regarding the problem. They quickly responds and shipped me the body.

The only problem is that the first two replacement parts they sent to me is incorrect. I'm not sure what went wrong but instead of recieving a replacement for the F355 Spider body, I got (in both replacement shipping) a Ferrari 550/575 Maranello body (which I also ordered from them the same time as the F355). It is not until my third time of request and explaining that I get the correct replacemet on the F355 Spider.

Other than that, HLJ rocksss!!!

Hi Cham,

You're in exam and still surfing the net? You are suppose to be studying. If you need help on your model just PM me, ok? Let's not hijack this thread.

I notice though that HLJ are now selling SMS (been mentioned already) and Revell, but to me I won't save by purchasing these products from them. They have a Revell 2003 GA at £21.50 + shipping, erm I can buy that in the UK for £8.50. I know I brought two of them only a few weeks back at £8.50 each, £17 for both of them and I collected them from down the road in the LHS.

Seems odd they sell Revell, however turning this around are they stocking Revell and SMS products (US /Germany) products for those in Japan to purchase? Can't see many importers from the US or UK wanting to buy Revell products from them.

Re: Kudos to HLJ.com

Mickbench, you are sooo right in what are saying about HLJ. I stay in South Africa as you know and they have shipped stuff to me on quite a few occasions and NEVER have they screwed up "Yet".

I love them and tend to go there first for all my stuff...

99% of my model Parts and Kits come from HLJ.com
I should get discount by now, must spend 100's each year with them.
