highs and lows at the same time dosent generate to much heat to melt anything does it? I do most my driving at night, and would try this, but at 1.5 hours each way at night, dont want to melt anything....

I have often held my switch to where both were on, but I'm afraid that would blow the bulbs or burn up the circuits or something... I am a little skittish about making that a permanent mod...

i seem to remember someone saying that if you convert to H4 it would melt something is the down position after like 5 min., other that that i dont know. I suppose if your driving the wind would cool it enough where it shouldnt be a problem...?

well when the snake eyes are on (headlights illuminated in the down position), it doesn't provide enough illumination to actually drive at night. so basically its just for show. when i'm driving, i actually pop the headlights up.

but i wouldn't do the H4 conversion, b/c it doesn't illuminate much better than the stock sealed beams do. instead do a HID conversion. there's a group buy HID retrofit on 3si right now, but its currently only offered for 2nd gen headlights.
