Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

The only internal difference between the 94 and 95 is the Rods and that was switched mid year 94 and the pre 95 had better push rods. They can both handle the same power. Also head/cam packages are the way I always like to go but at some point in the search for more power., you will be required to go forced inductions and there I prefer superchargers but thats just me considering more power can be had from a turbo.

Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

Whats so special about the LT4 conversion?. How are you going to feel when you spend like 4 grand to make your car a LT4 and some guy who bought a cam kit for like 400 bucks and did a gasket match port job smokes the shit out of you?. How cool is the LT4 going to look there?... The LT4 Hotcam Kit. Most certainly worth every penny. The LT4 timing chain set, very strong unit and priced affordably. Everything else LT4 is overrated and not worth the money considering what else there is on the aftermarket. 500 at the wheels can be had very easy with the use of a small PSI boost from a turbo or charger and head/cam combo.

Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

A gasket matched LT1 intake manifold will flow much better numbers than a LT4 will but Cuda already covered that.
