Question Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

Well i've decided that my 95z28 doesnt have as much hp/tq as i want, so what upgrades are possible? i've already pretty much got all the basic mods done. what are my best options with the lt1? i've thought of either going with a lt4 conversion and getting it turbo or doing a turbo 383 lt1 what would be best. I've seen the numbers on the lt4 conversion so i'm leaning towards that, i also want to get that rear mounted turbo i know a guy who has it and his 02SS hauls ass with only 6lbs of boost.

Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

Turbo or Nitrous would be the best BIG boost of HP. either way you'll need to get forged internals and beef 'em up etc.

Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

Big boys? With the turbo setup you'll be hitting low 11's maybe, just maybe high 10's with some nitrous

Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

so if i'm going turbo what compression should i use, i know that i need lower compression so i'm able to run more boost. i want to build the engine to handle atleast 15lbs of boost.

Re: Lt1 Engine Upgrades?

LT1s already have forged internals... they are good for 550+hp
