I distinctively recall him telling me that he sold two copies to the same person for the price that one should have sold for. I'm sure I still have that series of PMs somewhere... and yeah - I remember that guy turned around and sold one of them for more than he had paid for both.

My F1 GT brochure purchase price set the bottom-market record based on what I recall. It will hopefully mean good things when I am done with it. I'm also going to write "Peloton25 was here" inside the back cover before I sell it - that will be sure to increase it's value.

Re: Mclaren F1 Owner's Manual

Probably...that's how it goes. Can't begrudge anyone their profits. Even on eGay.

Speaking of the F1 GT brochure...

In case anyone has money burning a hole in their pocket:

Clickable...

These don't come around all that often.

Are we going to open a book on what the final price will be?

My guess ... 750 GBP.

I don't really know. It seems that prices are getting soft on the standard F1 Launch Brochure. I paid $280-something for my copy. One sold yesterday for slightly less then that. They've been at or over $500 for quite a long time before that.

The GT brochure is a different animal of course, but I just can't guarantee the bids will get as high as you suspect. I'd like it to though, as that would mean my copy is worth quite a bit more than I paid for it.

You'd think by the prices the GT brochures were fetching that they were leather bound and had 24K gold leaf pages. (Just ranting because I don't have one in my collection.... )

Oh well.. one day.

Wow, both of you have an F1 GT brochure? Any chance either of you have a scanner? I would love to get some high-res GT shots...

I have the brochure and no scanner. Archangel actually has a scanner, but no GT brochure.

I'll be buying a scanner before I cease having the GT brochure, so someday...

You've been saying the same thing for years now. We should all chip in and buy you a scanner...

It's just a matter of not being able to buy the scanner I want for the price I want to pay.

Your charitable offer is kind, but highly unnecessary.

As an interim measure may I suggest you try what I did with my 07R photos ... use a digital camera to photograph it?

Someone has already taken that wonderful step:

...am I the only one who pays attention here?

It seems he missed a page or two though.

Oh, sorry. I thought you said you had one in your collection Archangel.

Those shots are amazing, especially the ones by the lake. It looks like they have an alternate version of the popular picture which shows the F1 by the lake in the sunset. That picture is REALLY nice.

Apparently F1 Monster has all the GT pages scanned. That would be great if he could post them...
