I have been running Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 285/75/16 for about 5 years and they look great with no problems. fills out the wheel wells perfectly.
However, they did change the Wrangler, and now the only one that is available in this size is the Wrangler with Silent Armor. BF Goodrich also has a cool looking All Terrain T/A in this size. You can also fit 305/70/16 on there, but they look pretty weird.
