I think the only thing that'll get you a 10 second quarter mile under $1500 would be a CRX with a 55-gallon drum of gasoline in the back.
Then all you'd need would be a match and a video camera.
Put me down for $10 for a copy of the tape...and a plate of smoking, barbequed 16-year old.

wow. this is my first time clicking on this thread and wow. i can see why it is on page 9.

avw0516, if you run as much boost and shots of nitrous into that motor as i think you will need, your motor is not going to finish the 1/4 mile on the first run. do some serious research. you have alot to cover.

if the track officials actually let you run it, please vid it for us.
