You bring up a good point, yet by the time this takes effect your running somthing like a .003 lb flywheel.
Its not really an issue but you are correct on the thoughts and i'm glad you expanded. I've run "race" flys on everyone one of my motors anyone who drove my car with a stock or "street" flywheel was impressed most shocked running a 8lb flywheel was so smooth and even faster to respond.
and about the B stamping on a motor. it will be your first stamped letter eg b18c b20a etc. if it has a B as the second letter run its a pos motor eg D15b7 D15b1. Get the whole code if your still not sure we will be able to tell you.
