Re: what looks better? 1st or 2nd gen?

I will never own chrome wheels again. Not because it doesnt look good but because it starts to peel, is a pain to keep looking nice and as the wheel gets older makes it harder to get a good seal around the bead of the tire.

Yeah the black rims are the rice thing, chrome will always look much better IMO.

But gunmetal with the chrome lip has it's place too.

How so?? I have seen some nice as hell cars with very nice black wheels. The car looked so better than it would have with chrome wheels. Black wheels is not a ricer thing unless they are stock steel wheels trying to look JDM tYte Yo.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

I love the way the 99 VR4 looks. Most 2g 3kgt look excellent overall though. The stealth looks wayyyyy better with aftermarket wheels, the stockers just look so damn ugly most of the time I see them.

CHROME is where it's at. Pearl black can look awesome on the right car.
