what looks better? 1st or 2nd gen?

Which generation of stealths do you think looks better? I lean more towards the 1st gen just cuz my stealth is a 1st gen but i also think the 2nd gen front bumper looks to solid. i like the way the 1st gen front bumpers look better. i also prefer the flip up lights. I think the 1st gen looks more sleek and the 2nd gen is too curvy. Oh and whats up with dodge and the cross-hair grill? it looks good on the trucks but what the hell happend with the new Chargers? making it into a sedan.....thats messed up. They just need to leave some things alone. They should have made the new Charger look exactly like the old Charger.

Re: what looks better? 1st or 2nd gen?

as far as stealths, i like the 2nd gen a little better.
as far as 3kgt's i like the 1st gens better.

the perfect 3kgt would be, 1st gen sideskirts, pop up lights, and everything else 2nd gen

As for the 3000GT I say 3rd gen looks best (let's not forget the '99).

Stealths were all ugly IMO...but the least ugly would be 1st gen TT's.

the First gen Stealth R/T and R/T TT were the best of the first gen, the 94-99 3000GT was the best of the second gen, and a 99 VR-4 was the best of all of them, I love the 1999 with the chrome stock 18" with pearlwhite Paint...

Re: what looks better? 1st or 2nd gen?

yea the 99 vr-4 was bad ass. i have a 1st gen r/t non-turbo. ima put a 99' vr-4 wing on it as soon as i can afford it. those things aint cheap.

Re: Re: what looks better? 1st or 2nd gen?

Every 3s has its own beauty to it. The worst looking imo is the first gen ES/base Stealth, then second gen base Stealth. I own a base Stealth myself so I am not showing bias. Of course my car looks nothing like a base Stealth anymore.

Anyway my fav is 97-98, with 99 a close second. All others have there own things I love about them.

chrome? CHRome? chrOME?

haha, just my opinion. i think chrome on wheels is OUT! but chrome on the engine parts will always look nice. chrome wheels just look a little ricey. go for a gunmetal look.

chrome is not out. chrome has been in since the dawn of the mag wheel. I think gunmetal looks more ricey any day.
