Anyone built Aoshima C110 skyline (regular or GT-R)

I'm just wondering if anyone has built any of Aoshima's C110 skyline kits, be they 2 or 4 door, GT-X, GT-R, stock or works...
Why I'm wondering is that I'm having little luck BMF'ing the chrome on my "chiki chiki racing" C110 coupe (the bosozoku style one with the stretchwalls and crazy camber). It came with the bumpers, lights, grille etc all in raw plastic, no plating at all.

I'm just wondering if this is how they all come, as I would like to buy either another kit or a chrome sprue from one to finish the current model properly.

Anyone?

I want to get it out of the way so I can get stuck into my next old skyline, Tamiya KPGC10 GT-R with L-series motor conversion and 345 RS-watanabes...

The real 1:1's had chrome bumpers, I would make that way.

Haha, yeah thats the plan! Its just that for some reason there were no plated parts in the kit apart from the wheels.

Thanks guys. I don't want to order a parts sprue from HLJ and find out that they're all unplated, thats all.

Not sure if this is the Skyline kit you're asking about, but from the pics in this auction, the bumpers are plated.

Yeah, thats the GT-R, but the bumpers should be the same as the GT-X kit. In fact I might order the GT-R plated parts anyway.
Its for one of the "Chiki Chiki racing" kits, the ones with the stretchwall tyres and wacky camber.

My Aoshima bumpers are plated but the grille is raw plastic.
