Fujimi's LMGT4's

There have been a lot of threads about these rims, but none with pictures save FOTW's thread from back when pics were attached with a button when AF was having hosting troubles and well, yeah, they don't work. So, what I'm looking for is how big these rims are, and how decent they look. Are they regular Fujimi 18" size or are they bigger? I'm actually looking to use these (disguised as another rim) for an EG Civic, so smaller is better for me. In fact, the rims I want to replicate look like this:



and I want to know if I'm on the right track. If not, someone show me something better!

(These rims, btw, would look stellar as some PE centers with aluminum rims. That way you could get that thin spoke with just the right curvature and paint them to not mach the lip. Hot!)

They are standard Fujimi 18", size-wise. There are two versions of them from Fujimi, the regular set, and the set from the Nismo V35 where the rear wheels have more curvature. Personally, I don't like either of them, mostly because Fujimi half-assed it by flattening the inside sections of the spokes instead of retaining the shape of the front spoke. I'd take a pic and show you, but 99% of my wheels are still in Houston, not with me. If you want to use an LMGT4 to disguise, I'd suggest Tamiya's set from the R34 kit.

Hey will, how about LMGT2's to replicate those Work RSZ-R's. Only thing you would need to do is remove the rivets.

I agree with what you said. If only it could be done in a two piece, aluminum rim and PE 5 spoke design that would be placed over the rim. It would also allow you to paint the spokes in the different colors the RSZ-R's came in.

I won't be able to use the rims from the Tamiya kit, they will be far too large for an EG Civic, especially since the kit is a tad underscale to begine with.

How about the TRD Sports or Mazda Speed MS-01, they are both 17".
