KW Suspension Variant3 for S13/S14 ... interest-poll

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I have registered because I wanted to ask yome questions and give informations about the company I am writing my diploma thesis at right now. This company is KW automotive.

Up until now the company did not produce a coilover suspension for the Nissan S13 or S14 ... the 240SX. Now the decision has to be made, to build a Variant3 Coilover for these models or not to. Depending on the demand on the German, US and international market.

So that is what this poll is all about. Would you be interested in a coilover suspension for your Nissan from KW?

What's the price on these? Looks cool, if it's priced right it might make a good competitor for the other tried and tested coilover setups..

pricing is not fixed yet. US market would anyway get a different price than germany (kinda cheaper i guess)

german prices for Variant3 are from 1100 euro to 1500 euro depending on the application. but as i have said, pricing for the US is different.

Yeah, the site works fine for me to, well I dunno, there's alot of options out there already, but if you look at the Honda world, 83 different companies make lowering springs for them so competition doesn't seem to be a problem, lol.

1100 Euros is 1,359.17 USD. i dont see it competing...

highest quality and pro setup possibilities

technics are used in the FIA GT Racing series etc. these are racing coilovers though, but the setup-possibilities are the same.

And privateers use them to drive on race tracks like the nürburgring nordschleife and in private race series. track record has been set two weels ago on KW coilovers

no, i am not a salesman, i write my diploma thesis at KW Germany and try to find out somehting about demand on coilovers for the us market. since a variant 3 for the 240SX S13 S14 has not been developed yet, this car was the first on the list. i just wanted to know, if there is demand and what people think about the idea of buying such a coilover suspension.

the 350Z is already in the program and as you guys can see, he loved it.

coilovers for free? give me a name and address of another coilover company that does that and ill definately order one ... (to sell it an get a variant3)

just kidding, but if it is built, dealers in the US will have demo-cars equipped with those i think. all dealers need to have a demo car, maybe some choose the 240SX. if not, just test drive another car with variant3 installed at your nearest KW dealer (see homepage) and you´ll see, its highest quality .

"demo-cars" in the US are called sponsorships. I need a sponsor. The can sponsor my 240SX and I'll gladly take it to car shows, drift events, autoX and tell everybody how great they are...

not all the time. Some companies build a car with all the parts in there catalog to show them off. Random people get sponsored. But some people end up using alot of shit from one company anyway.

Ive heard decent things about KWs.

However for $1350 shipped with no double height adjustment, No Inverted Front and honestly - a mickey mouse looking external resivoir and what was hardly a glowing reveiw from SCC.
