ya know.. i've noticed that calling someone in the import world's car 'ricey' is almost as bad as calling a black person the 'n' word. anyone else notice how serious this term is? lol

I don't think you should be calling his hubcaps ricey. They do not adversely affect his performance, nor do they look flashy, or even gaudy. They don't even identify his car as something it isn't. It is just a low budget solution to 1995's period of time before he gets his wheels. No reason at all to call them rice, although other less serious names are ok as long as they aren't taken too seriously (i.e.: ghetto
 ).

They're not ricey. The hubcaps are just a different color that's all. They're just still hubcaps. You can call them ugly, which they are, but they're not really ricey.
