I know someone whos lot older then me mid 50s and he grew up in south said some people made a high grade stuff and it costs a ton had some once just sets you on your ass no taste just warm was out of this world.

i had some cherry moonshine once it tasted good. but they dont call it fire water for nothing. once that shit hits your chest it burns like no other alcohol can possibly do. and moonshine isnt just a souther thing he irish make it as well. man id love to get a hold of some more of that. one shot of taht and a few beers and your night is gunna be good

My Dad used to keep moonshine in the house growing up, and he finally got pissed one day b/c he thought my brother and I had been watering it down after stealing it....which we had.
