oh man please. I got a speeding ticket when I was 16 and went home to consult the pops about it right after to see what I should do. How are you going to handle the ticket man? You do realize you have a time limit to both pay the ticket and to take the traffic school right?

you can't just ignore/hide things like this and HOPE they go away. You like the car you're driving? Yah well if you want to keep that or keep driving at all you gotta take care of this quick (been there, done that).

If you have your own cash like I did then just get all that shit taken care of, may as well tell your rents as they'll figure out somehow soon anyway. If you don't have your own cash then ask the fam for help because you're obviously in a pretty financially solid place if you're grabbing a vr-4 as your first car.

You definately don't need to vent mane, you just gotta go sort this shit out.
