you have a timing problem.

Check it with the timing wire disconnected.

Re: Oil in the exhaust

I only get a little black smoke at startup.It goes on the sidewalk,followed by the white smoke for 4-6seconds then good to go.Runs smooth and quiet,only leaks oil.

Had plugs,belt,fuel filter,pcv valve replaced.Drives good just the above

Cap and Rotor?
Timing checked and adjusted?

Its not missing at idle and cap and rotor less than 5000 miles on them.

no but its not off like you would expect.It was adjusted in february with the new belt

New belt? The serpintine belt has nothing to do with the timing.

Check the timing with the timing wire unconnected from the ECM.

If you have black smoke coming out your tailpipe, you are running rich.

I paid 10 bucks to have it checked.Seem right?He said it was advanced by 2 so he put it back to 0.Seem right?Also does 6hrs labor and 60 for parts seem right for the rear main seal.He quoted me 380 which he said was about 25 bucks higher than the labor and parts but he said that will come off if he doesnt need extra gaskets and what nots

When he checked it this morning,he took the wire off.I figured i had it checked again anyway.
