When you say Kompressor, do you mean SLK 240 Kompressor? Becuause the SCd 240 from Merc (Non AMG) is slow, I've beat 'em.

Kinda funny, I didn't realize that Mitsubishi upped the Limiter on the cars. A friend of mine had a later model GS and it would cut out at 115 But I haven't really kept up to date on what they are doing now.

and you know what they could both stomp me on the track, and in a crash...so who am I to be diesrepectul?

Simply put....to each his own. I wanted an fbody. I couldn't afford one, so I paid the truck off and made it fast. It wasn't being done alot in my area, and I get plenty of respect from guys in person. You have no idea what it feels like winning a race against a guy that was just thinking about how bad he was going to destroy me because it was just a truck. It's also a great way to make alittle side bank.

To be honest....I'm nowhere near done with the truck. Next year will be the forced induction stage of the truck. I'm going to see what 10s taste like. For the guys that respect what us truck guys do... I really appreciate it. We all have something in common if we're in this part of the forum...Some of us are just idiots when it comes to starting threads.

When my buddy first saw this thread and read the first post, he was like..."Well, the other guy was in a Ford, so he already lost."

3G eclipses are limited by drag only. A GS may not have the power to go beyond 115 (I have no idea what the top speed on a 4cyl 3G is though)
