Hey...don't make fun...I used to own one. That's why I drive a Honda now.

Seriously, I've seen and read about MX-3's transplanted with the Ford Probe/Mazda MX-6 V6's. There's also some that get the JDM V6's that come with 200HP stock. There was one guy that I read about 4 years ago that had the JDM V6 turbocharged. He told SportCompactCar this small story about killing a Viper...

the 1.6 litre 4 cyl MX-3 has a whopping 88 hp!!! you should be proud of your civic! I had a 4 cyl Mx-3 and wanted to do the v-6 mx-6 / probe gt transplant but i ended up getting into an accident and getting rid of it. the MX-3 is a very nimble car and if it had more power it probably would have sold much better then it did. I'm pretty sure the 1.8 litre v-6 only had 120 hp.

It's even better than I thought. He had the FOUR-BANGER. Imagine if he had the V6?

I used to have an 89 Mazda Mx-6 GT Turbo with custom turbo upgrade, front-mount IC, i/h/e, among other things. Had it turned up to 10 lbs on stock internals. Ran a 13.8 @1XX. Pretty damn quick car. Don't really know too much about the Mx-3, though. I can say that they're ugly, lol.

Uhhhh, you have a header on your turbo car? lmfao...

10 pounds of boost on stock internals isnt anything to shake a stick at boy :apoke:

Go get yourself a mid to late 80's dodge turbo... those biatches can take 14-20 pounds of boost with proper care and basically stock internals short of a good management system!
