Re: 4 headlight mod

I'm not one who could say I've done that. From the looks of the instructions I don't even know if I'd want to attempt it. It would be pretty awesome though.

Re: 4 headlight mod

so, the low beams are not supposed to stay on with the high beams? the previous owner must have modded mine, then.

Re: 4 headlight mod

Nope, factory settings do not keep the lows on when you switch to high. Must be modded!

Re: 4 headlight mod

Anybody know if this will work on a 03 Tahoe? I would think it so...

Re: 4 headlight mod

03 is a little more difficult from my understanding. Search around and I bet you'll find it. The module from Stylin Concepts for the 03 up models is even a buttload more!

I used a 16-14 gauge tap I got at advance autoparts, and some 16 gauge yellow wire I got there, too.

Re: 4 headlight mod

Gotter done Blender... Used a 22-16 AWG quick tap and some 18 AWG wire to ground with. Even went all out and soldered the terminal! (Woohoo) I like the output though. I used to drive around holding the high/low switch back, wishing they were that bright. Well I'll be, they are that bright! Thanks for the input.

Yes, I have done it on a 2003 2500HD. Makes offroading at night like daylight. It can be all done in the under the hood fuse box using diodes.
