Gsr or Si Swap
what should i go with the Gsr or Si motor for my 94 civic. Which would be better in the long run and which is the best for a greddy turbo kit w/stock internals. Thanks in advance.

by far a no brainer.
gsr dude. who cares if the b16 has a better rod stroke ratio (which isnt all that important anway depending on head design) and a better flowing head (not by a large amount) the gsr has more power to start, and more displacement. and we all know there is no replacement for displacement sure if you had a b16 to start with its a great motor but if you have to choose between the two....b18c all day. and if you wanna get stupid crazy mixing going on get a b18c full block, b16b or a head, and a 97 type r tranny with a limited slip. oh yeah even an h22 owner will salivate at that one. by thats my opinion, and not often am i agreed with. |
